PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device and a method being simple and user-friendly and surely administering a microneedle array into a skin with elasticity.SOLUTION: A microneedle patch administration device comprises a body case and a tip slide. The body case includes a piston and a pushing spring, the tip slide includes a side opening part, and the microneedle patch is inserted from the side opening part. The pushing spring is compressed by movement of a movable knob, and a locking arm is locked to a locking pin to temporarily hold a piston. A patch holder mounted with the microneedle patch is inserted from the side opening part, the tip slide is pushed against the skin to release the locking between the locking arm and the locking pin, the pushing spring pushes out the piston at one go, and the piston applies an impact on the microneedle patch rear surface to insert the microneedle into the skin.
