The present invention relates to the use of a cyclic peptide comprising the tripeptide mimicking a beta-fertilin binding site to the oocyte integrin, to enhance mitochondrial activity. More particularly, the invention relates to the use of a cyclic peptide comprising the tripeptide FEE for stimulating the mitochondrial activity of gametes or embryonic cells within the framework of protocols of medical assistance to procreation (AMP). La présente invention porte sur l'utilisation d'un peptide cyclique comprenant le tripeptide reproduisant un site de liaison de la fertiline béta à l'intégrine de l'ovocyte, pour améliorer l'activité mitochondriale. Plus particulièrement, l'invention concerne l'utilisation d'un peptide cyclique comprenant le tripeptide FEE pour stimuler l'activité mitochondriale des gamètes ou des cellules embryonnaires dans le cadre de protocoles d'assistance médicale à la procréation (AMP).
