PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a clip device for an endoscope exerting excellent clipping performance by forming the whole length of clipping arms into a length beyond the conventional common-sense length and being smoothly inserted/extracted with respect to the interior of a treatment instrument insertion channel of the endoscope.
SOLUTION: The pair of clipping arms 2 are formed of a plurality of divided pieces 2A to 2C serially continued in the longitudinal direction respectively, connecting wire rods 3 formed by longitudinally staggering bendable sections 3C and non-bendable sections 3B are inserted into through-holes formed therein, and the connecting wire rods 3 are axially moved by an operation from the proximal end side of a flexible sheath 1 to change over between a state where the bendable sections 3C of the connecting wire rods 3 are located at the connecting portions of the plurality of divided pieces 2A to 2C and a state where the non-bendable sections 3B are located there, so that the clipping arms 2 are changed over between a bendable state and a rigid state at the connecting portions between the plurality of divided pieces 2A to 2C.
