The present invention relates to a monitoring device for a plasma discharge electrode condition of a hydroxyl group generating device, comprising: a hydroxyl group generation unit consisting of an electrode unit of a positive electrode and a negative electrode and generating a hydroxyl group an H-bridge circuit for supplying power, in which polarities of the positive electrode and the negative electrode are converted by switching a plurality of switching elements, to the hydroxyl group generation unit a switching unit for switching the switching elements of the H-bridge circuit a voltage detection unit for detecting a voltage applied to the hydroxyl group generation unit a current detection unit for detecting a current consumed in the hydroxyl group generation unit and a control unit for controlling the voltage applied through the switching unit by adjusting a pulse width modulation (PWM) duty, calculating detected voltage and current values to calculate power consumption, and controlling the voltage according to the calculated power consumption. The control unit is configured to compare the detected voltage and current values or PWM duty ratio with a threshold value to generate a clean signal indicating that the electrode unit is clean, or a cleaning signal or replacement signal indicating that cleaning or replacement of the electrode unit is required depending on a comparison result.
