This invention provides a tracking device of a dental surgery lamp, comprising a medical chair having a headrest for supporting the head of a patient, the headrest being disposed therein with a first sensing element and a surgery lamp movably disposed above the medical chair and disposed thereon with a second sensing element, wherein the surgery lamp is moved to a position corresponding to the headrest through guidance achieved with the first sensing element and the second sensing element.
