PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a walking assistant machine capable of assisting the walking of a person having difficulty in walking by own ability and being in need of care in an ideal movement for the walking assist and facilitating the walking of an assisted person by assisting the walk.
SOLUTION: A pair of left/right support arms 4a and 4b are installed to individually vertically swing relative to a body 1 capable of travelingly moving by casters and wheels. The respective support arms 4a and 4b are provided with support parts 7a and 7b for supporting the elbows of the assisted person at their tip ends, and an interlocking mechanism for operatively connecting the support arms 4a and 4b to each other so that when one of the support arms 4a swings downward, the other support arm 4b swings upward.
