PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging apparatus for acquiring tongue diagnosis based on scientific evidence.SOLUTION: An imaging apparatus 1 for acquiring a picture of a tongue extending from a subject's oral aperture includes: a picture display unit 11 for displaying a mouth picture, a picture on a part around the oral aperture； a superposition display unit 12 for superposing on the mouth picture a target scope picture TS representing an imaging range of the tongue before displaying the superposition picture on the picture display unit； and an imaging unit 13 for imaging, as a range picture, a region of the picture displayed on the picture display unit, the region set on the basis of the target scope picture.
