The present invention relates to a novel qualitative and quantitative analysis method for gastric mucosal injury. According to the present invention, by quantifying the inflammatory reaction of gastric mucosal cells using Ulcer Index, it is possible to quantitatively measure gastric mucosal damage conveniently and accurately. In addition, since it is possible to confirm the damage protection effect of a substance capable of preventing or treating stomach damage diseases such as gastritis and gastric ulcer, it can be usefully applied to the development of therapeutic agents.본 발명은 위 점막 손상에 대한 새로운 정성 및 정량적 분석방법에 관한 것이다. 본 발명에 따르면 위 점막 세포의 염증반응을 궤양지수(Ulcer Index)를 이용하여 수치화함으로써 편리하고 정확하게 위점막 손상을 정량적으로 측정할 수 있다. 또한, 위염, 위궤양과 같은 위 손상 질환을 예방 또는 치료할 수 있는 물질의 위 손상 보호 효과를 확인할 수 있어 치료제 개발에 유용하게 적용할 수 있다.
