PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hair cosmetic which is easy to fit and spread on hair in use while having excellent stability, excellent in non-sliminess after water washing, and excellent in effects on the lightness or flexibility after drying.SOLUTION: The hair cosmetic includes (A) a higher alcohol-modified siloxane compound represented by general formula (1), (B) a cationic surfactant, (C) an ester oil in the range of molecular weight of 250-600, (D) dimethylpolysiloxane having a polymerization degree of 2,000-10,000.
