PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an absorptive article which has elasticity in its longitudinal direction to fit well on the skin of a wearer, flexibly follow movement of the wearer without twisting, and give the wearer good wearing feeling.
SOLUTION: A sanitary napkin 1 as the absorptive article by this invention has an absorptive layer 10 and a leak-proof layer 11 and is substantially elongated in the longitudinal direction. The absorptive layer 10 formed by laminating a first fiber layer 21 to form a skin abutting face, a second fiber layer 22 placed to the leak-proof layer 11 side, and a third fiber layer 23 placed between the first and second layers. The third fiber layer 23 has elasticity in the longitudinal direction of the napkin 1, the first fiber layer 21 is mainly constituted of a thermoplastic fiber, and the second fiber layer 22 mainly of hydrophilic fiber, The first fiber layer 21 and the third fiber layer 23, and the third fiber layer 23 and the second fiber layer 22 are respectively partially joined. The leak-proof layer 11 has elasticity in the longitudinal direction of the napkin 1. The napkin 1 has elasticity of in whole longitudinal direction.
