An endoscope system according to an embodiment of the present invention comprises: an image signal generation part that is connected to one side of a cable and includes a signal transmitting part which transmits a converted image signal after converting the image signal depending on a transfer protocol for a long distance to be able to transmit an image signal for the inside of a human body through the cable； a signal processing part that is connected to the other side of the cable and converts the converted image signal into the image signal after receiving the converted image signal through the cable； a CPU outputting a user interface on the image signal and an operation control signal in accordance with the operation of the user interface by a user； and an image processing part that overlaps the output image signal from the signal processing part with the user interface, and processes the image signal depending on the operation control signal. Therefore, a high speech image processing for the endoscope system is provided.본 발명의 실시예에 따른 내시경 시스템은 케이블의 일측에 연결되며, 상기 케이블을 통한 인체 내부에 대한 영상신호의 전송이 가능하도록 장거리 전송용 프로토콜에 따라 상기 영상신호를 변환하여 변환영상신호를 전송하는 신호전송부를 포함하는 영상신호 생성부； 상기 케이블의 타측과 연결되어 상기 케이블을 통하여 전송된 상기 변환영상신호를 수신하여 상기 변환영상신호를 상기 영상신호로 변환하는 신호처리부； 상기 영상신호에 대한 유저 인터페이스 및 사용자의 상기 유저 인터페이스 조작에 따른 동작제어신호를 출력하는 CPU； 및 상기 신호처리부로부터 출력된 상기 영상신호에 상기 유저 인터페이스를 오버랩핑하고 상기 동작제어신호에 따라 상기 영상신호를 처리하는 이미지 프로세싱부를 포함한다.
