PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an insect pest control device that can prevent harmful insects such as centipedes from passing, that can facilitate installation and removal on the surface of a foundation structure of a building, and that is easy to construct and excellent in maintainability.SOLUTION: The insect pest control device includes: a contact part 11 which is brought into contact with the surface of the foundation structure 1 of a building a flat plate housing part 12 which has a downward opening formed in the contact part 11 dark space formation parts 22, 23 in which a vertical cross-sectional shape when housed in the flat plate housing part 12 is inclined from the flat plate part 21 housed in the flat plate housing part 12 downward in a direction separating from the flat surface of the foundation structure 1 and a fall prevention stopper part 13 which is formed in the contact part 11 in the lower part of the flat plate housing part 12 and which prevents the dark space formation parts 22, 23 in the housed state from falling.
