PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a fishing line from being entangled between a clutch operation member and a reel body.SOLUTION: A double bearing reel includes a reel body 1, a spool 4, a handle 2, and a clutch operation member 17. The reel body 1 includes a pair of a first side plate 8a and a second side plate 8b. The clutch operation member 17 includes an operation part 17a and a regulation part 17b. The regulation part 17b is provided to the operation part 17a so as to be adjacent to the second side plate 8b in order to regulate the invasion of a fishing line between the operation part 17a and the second side plate 8b.
