PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air cell dispensing with a complicated configuration as a whole mattress by devising a shape of the air cell itself and a configuration, further dispensing with any special attachment device, and capable of preventing fall of a care-receiver or the like on the mattress.SOLUTION: An elongated bag-shaped air cell 10 comprises an upper air chamber 12 and a lower air chamber 14 that are so configured that air flows through therebetween and, when the air is fed from an air supply opening 18, the internal pressure becomes the same in the upper and lower air chambers. An air mat can be configured by aligning a plurality of elongated bag-shaped air cells 10 in the longitudinal direction of a bed. The diameter of the upper air chamber 12 in a prescribed range when being filled with air is set larger than respective diameters of the upper air chamber 12 in another range and the lower air chamber 14 when being filled with the air. The upper air chamber 12 in the prescribed range is configured harder than either of the lower air chamber 14 and the upper air chamber 12 in the other range.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1COPYRIGHT: (C)2016,JPO&INPIT【課題】エアセル自体の形状や、構成を工夫することにより、マットレス全体としての複雑な構成を必要とせず、また、特別な付属装置も不要な、マットレス上の被介護者等の転落防止を可能とするエアセルを提供すること。【解決手段】上側空気室12及び下側空気室14からなり、上下間はエアが相互に流動するように形成し、さらに、給気口18からエアが供給されると、上下とも同じ内圧となり、ベッドの長手方向に複数本並設することでエアマットを構成可能にする細長い袋状のエアセル10の構成を、所定範囲における上側空気室12のエア充填時の径が、他の範囲における上側空気室12及び下側空気室14それぞれのエア充填時の径よりも大きく設定し、所定範囲における上側空気室12が、下側空気室14及び他の範囲における上側空気室12の何れよりも硬くなるようにした。【選択図】図1
