The present invention provides a method and a device for calculating a safety degree of a work environment. The method for calculating a safety degree comprises the following steps of: receiving noxious gas information from a gas sensor detecting a noxious gas； receiving biometric information of a user from a biometric sensor measuring the biometric information of the user； calculating the safety degree of the user based on the noxious gas information and the biometric information； and outputting the calculated safety degree.작업 환경의 안전도를 계산하기 위한 방법 및 장치가 제공된다. 안전도를 계산하기 위해, 유해 가스를 검출하는 가스 센서로부터 유해 가스 정보를 수신하고, 사용자의 생체 정보를 측정하는 생체 센서로부터 사용자의 생체 정보를 수신하며, 유해 가스 정보 및 생체 정보에 기초하여 사용자의 안전도를 계산하고, 계산된 안전도를 출력한다.
