Disclosed is a dissolvable film adapted to adhere to an oral mucosal tissue of a subject, wherein the film comprises at least three indigestible hydrophilic polymers constituting from 35% to 55% of the film dry weight and wherein the at least three polymers comprise xanthan gum and carboxymethyl cellulose (CMC) in a weight ratio of between 1:0.8-1.6, and at least one other cellulose based polymer. Optionally, the film may further include an active agent in an amount of 0.01% to 35% of the film dry weight. Disclosed also is a method for preparing the film and a method for treating or preventing oral conditions comprising implementing the film. Particularly, the film may be applied between dentures and the gums of the user.L'invention concerne un film soluble destiné à adhérer à un tissu mucosal buccal d'un sujet, le film comprenant au moins trois polymères hydrophiles non digérables constituant de 35 % à 55 % du poids sec du film, les au moins trois polymères contenant de la gomme de xanthane et de la carboxyméthyle cellulose (CMC) dans un rapport massique de 1:0,8 - 1,6 et au moins un autre polymère à base de cellulose. Le film peut éventuellement comprendre un autre agent actif dans une quantité de 0,01 % à 35 % du poids sec du film. L'invention concerne également un procédé de préparation du film et un procédé de traitement ou de prévention d'une affection bucco-dentaire au moyen du film selon l'invention. Le film peut notamment être appliqué entre la dentition et les gencives de l'utilisateur.
