PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pest repellent composition for human body that gives cool feeling (cold sensation) even in the mainly used summer season and that has a very excellent pest repellent effect, as well as to provide a wet tissue-type pest repellent material for human body.SOLUTION: A pest repellent material in a form easy to use for a human body obtained by impregnating a fibrous substrate with a pest repellent composition in which 1-(2-hydroxy-4-methylcyclohexyl)-1-methyl ethanol is used as an active ingredient and in which said compound and at least one or more kind cold sensation component selected from menthol, menthyl lactate, camphor, menthoxy propanediol and menthyl-ethyl-amino oxalic acid are combined, gives a cool feeling (cold sensation) when used for a human body as well as has an excellent repellent effect against pests such as mosquitoes.SELECTED DRAWING: None
