PURPOSE: A grain popping machine is provided to drastically reduce the whole size of the machine by applying different cam structure from the conventional cam and by installing a stopper which is able to absorb the impact.CONSTITUTION: An elevation head(24) is elevated by the rotary power of a rotary cam(21) connected to a driving shaft and the rolling action of a bearing(23) assembled in one side of the rotary cam. The elevation head drops an elevation shaft(28) connected to a pressure lid, which compresses and inflates the grains contained in an autoclave. A stopper(22) for the impact absorption is adhered on one side of the rotary cam, and adsorbs the rising impact of the elevation shaft or the elevation head connected to the elevation shaft. A piston(32) and an elastomer(34) are serially inserted in a housing(31). In order to prevent the piston from separating from the housing due to the repulsive power of the elastomer, the gauge of the rear part(32A) of the piston is reduced and a part of the piston is fastened with a snap ring(33) etc. in the outside of the housing. A hanging sill(24A) is formed on the combining direction end of the elevation head to the elevation shaft. The elevation head, shaft and pressure lid are simultaneously dropped according to the rotational direction of the rotary cam, and add pressure on the grain contained in the autoclave. A jamming protrusion(25A) is a part of a trigger(25) and operates forces in the arrow direction by the tensile strength of an extension spring. The jamming protrusion is automatically fastened and interferes the automatic rising of the elevation head, shaft and pressure lid when the hanging sill is dropped. The bearing of the rotary cam unfastens the trigger and releases the tightening of the hanging sill and jamming protrusion.
