PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an oily composition, preferably a cosmetic composition and more preferably a cleansing composition, which have an increased viscosity while maintaining good stability, cleansing performance, spreadability and smoothness.SOLUTION: There are provided a composition, preferably a cosmetic composition and more preferably a cleansing composition which comprise: (a) at least one oil (b) at least one, optionally hydrogenated, block copolymer of styrene and at least one olefin and (c) at least one nonionic surfactant. The composition can have an increased viscosity while having good stability, cleansing performance, spreadability and smoothness.
