A respiratory mask or other sealable interface may be used in combination with a nasal cannula or other unsealed interface to provide respiratory therapy to treat COPD or OSA. The mask may serve as a pressure vessel over the top of the nasal cannula to increase expiratory pressure while allowing the nasal cannula to provide breathing gas of high humidity and temperature to the user .
