PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging diagnosis catheter which has improved performance for delivery to a lesioned part and which can be disposed in the lesioned part without expanding the lesioned part.SOLUTION: An imaging diagnosis catheter 100 includes: a sheath 110 having a tip opening part 111 which is inserted into a living body lumen; a drive shaft 140 provided so as to rotate, and move forward and backward in an axial direction of the sheath within the sheath, an imaging core 150 which has an ultrasonic vibrator 151 capable of transmitting/receiving an ultrasonic wave and a housing 152 holding the ultrasonic vibrator and which is provided at the tip of drive shaft, and a tip member 160 which has a coil 161 for guiding the movement of the sheath in the living body lumen and which is provided at the tip of the imaging core.
