PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an absorbent article capable of sufficiently exerting performance of an absorbent core even when two core wrap sheets are used on the absorbent core.SOLUTION: A napkin 1 as an example of an absorbent article comprises a vertically long absorber 4 including an absorbent core 41 containing water absorptive polymer 410, an inner sheet 42 disposed on a skin-facing side of the absorbent core 41, and an outer sheet 43 wrapping the whole of the absorbent core 41 disposed with the inner sheet 42. The napkin 1 is divided into a front area B, an excretion area A, and a rear area C. The outer sheet 43 and the inner sheet 42 support functional particles of same type. The outer sheet 43 has liquid permeation speed higher than the liquid permeation speed of the inner sheet 42. The outer sheet 43 has a crepe ratio larger than the crepe ratio of the inner sheet 42.
