PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vertical steam sterilizer having a configuration such that water which intrudes a control box, does not intrude a non-waterproof electric box since, when the adhesion of the end part of a cover film is peeled off, water coming in from the part falls downward from the inside of the control box and is applied to electric components inside the electric box provided inside a body portion to be the cause of a fault and a cost increases when the electric box is made into a waterproof structure to solve the problem, in a vertical steam sterilizer in which a switch operation unit on the upper surface of the control box provided on the upper surface of the body portion is covered with the cover film.
SOLUTION: The non-waterproof electric box is provided inside the body portion right below a control panel disposed at the rear upper surface of the upper surface plate of the body portion, and the electric components of the control panel and the electric components inside the electric box are connected by a lead wire passing through the upper surface plate. For the electric box, a back wall is positioned on the front side and opened to the rear part of the body portion, an upper wall forms a waterproof raised wall at the end part and inclined low toward the back wall, the end part of the upper wall overlaps with the upper side of the upper end part of a sidewall, and the lead wire is wired through the sidewall of the electric box.
