Cosmetic use of a substance for inhibiting non-pathological DNA methylation for stimulating the formation of elastic fibers in order to reduce skin wrinkles, to fight against sagging tissue especially when the tissue relaxation is observed during aging or sun exposure, to densify the extracellular matrix, to strengthen a subcutaneous tissue, to exert an anti-wrinkle effect, or to fight against stretch marks, is claimed. An independent claim is included for a substance for inhibiting the methylation of DNA to stimulate the elastic fiber formation. ACTIVITY : Vulnerary； Dermatological. MECHANISM OF ACTION : DNA-methyltransferase 3A (DNMT3a) inhibitor. The DNMT3a inhibitory activity of the substance for inhibiting non-pathological DNA methylation was tested in a human embryonic kidney 293 cell. The result showed that the inhibition activity of substance was 68%.
