The present invention relates to: a pharmaceutical composition for preventing and treating diseases caused by the excessive release of steroid hormones, containing a pyruvate dehydrogenase kinase 4 (PDK4) activity inhibitor as an active ingredient and a method for screening for the same and, more specifically, to: a pharmaceutical composition for preventing and treating diseases caused by the excessive release of steroid hormones, containing, as an active ingredient, a material inhibiting the expression of mRNA or a protein of PDK4 and a method for screening for the same. The present invention reveals that PDK4 can be used as a novel target for treating diseases caused by the excessive release of steroid hormones, and provides, on the basis thereof, a method for screening for a candidate material of an agent for preventing and treating diseases caused by the excessive release of steroid hormones. A novel candidate material capable of preventing and/or treating diseases caused by the excessive release of steroid hormones can be effectively selected by the screening method of the present invention, and there is an effect of enabling the provision of a pharmaceutical composition for preventing and treating diseases caused by the excessive release of steroid hormones by using a material selected by the screening method of the present invention.La présente invention concerne : une composition pharmaceutique destinée à la prévention et au traitement de maladies provoquées par la libération excessive dhormones stéroïdes, contenant un inhibiteur de lactivité de la pyruvate déshydrogénase kinase 4 (PDK4) en tant que principe actif et un procédé de criblage de ce dernier et, plus précisément : une composition pharmaceutique destinée à la prévention et au traitement de maladies provoquées par la libération excessive dhormones stéroïdes, contenant en tant que principe actif, une substance inhibant lexpression dARNm ou dune protéine de PDK4 et un procédé de criblage de ce dernie
