Provided are an optical fiber tip capable of radially irradiating light, a method for fabricating the optical fiber tip, and a medical optical device including the optical fiber tip. In detail, the method includes steps of: preparing a hollow optical fiber processed as the optical fiber tip performing first heat treatment on the hollow optical fiber to suture a cladding layer of one end of the hollow optical fiber and performing second heat treatment on the hollow optical fiber to suture a cladding layer of the other end of the hollow optical fiber, thereby forming an air-pocket in the optical fiber tip. The cladding layer of the hollow optical fiber may be arranged in a shape which surrounds the air-pocket by the first and second heat treatments. Thus, since the medical optical device including the optical fiber tip according to the present invention radially irradiates laser beams by the optical tip including the air-pocket therein, the medical optical device may be widely used to cure and remove lesions radially progressing with various shapes in body tissues. Also, a post-treatment process and a packaging process may be simplified, and an optical fiber tip may be miniaturized to be actively used for curing micro-scale tissues. The optical fiber tip according to the present invention is formed by processing the optical fiber itself.
