PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an optometer for always correctly performing a procedure to insert a pinhole to an optical path after selecting a spherical lens concerning the optometer including only two kinds of optical elements, i.e., the pinhole and a spherical lens group, as means for correcting a refractive error or accommodation disorder.SOLUTION: A lens front plate 3 is fixed to a lens plate 5, to hold a pinhole plate 9. The lens plate 5 is rotatable. Since projection lines 6 are formed in the lens plate 5, a flat and fan-shaped space surrounded by the lens plate 5, the lens front plate 3, and the two projection lines is formed in front of a lens 4 (on the side of a subjects eye 1). The pinhole plate 9 is inserted to the space. The pinhole plate 9 is held between the two projection lines 6, thereby to be moved in the radial direction of the lens plate 5 but not to be moved in the circumferential direction. When the lens plate 5 is intended to be rotated while the insertion of the pinhole plate 9 is kept, the pinhole plate 9 is abutted onto a rotation stopper 7, and thereby the lens plate 5 is not rotated. When the pinhole plate 9 is removed from an optical path, the lens plate 5 is rotated.
