The invention concerns an oxidation dyeing composition for keratin fibres, in particular human keratin fibres such as hair, comprising 2-chloro 6-methyl 3-aminophenol as coupler, combined with at least one appropriately selected oxidation base and at least one additional coupler chosen among appropriately selected meta-aminophenols and meta-phenylenediamine, and the dyeing method using said composition with an oxidising agent.La présente invention a pour objet une composition pour la teinture doxydation des fibres kératiniques, en particulier des fibres kératiniques humaines telles que les cheveux, comprenant du 2-chloro 6-méthyl 3-aminophénol à titre de coupleur, en association avec au moins une base doxydation convenablement sélectionnée et au moins un coupleur additionnel choisi parmi des méta-aminophénols et des méta-phénylènediamine convenablement sélectionnés, ainsi que le procédé de teinture mettant en oeuvre cette composition avec un agent oxydant.
