A mixture according to claim 1, wherein the composition comprises more than one thickening agent. A mixture according to claim 3, wherein the thickener is one of clay, modified clay, silica, hydrogenated castor oil, castor oil derivative, polyamide and polyester. A mixture according to claim 1, wherein the agricultural active ingredient contains one or more dispersed solids. A mixture according to claim 5, wherein the dispersed solid is a herbicide of the chemical classes consisting of sulfonamides, sulfonylureas and derivatives, arylpyridinecarboxylic acids and derivatives, arylpyrimidinecarboxylic acids and derivatives, anilides, imidazolinones and carbazones. A mixture according to claim 6, where the herbicide is at least one of or a derivative of one of piroxulam, florasulam, penoxssulam, diflufenican, thifensulfuron, tribenuron, mesosulfuron, clopyralid, aminopyralid, fluroxypyr, triclopyr, picloram and their derivatives with the following structure where Ar is a polysubstituted phenyl group, R is H or halogen, and X is halogen. 8.
