Um die Einführung von Knochenschrauben in eine Knochenplatte (1) zu erleichtern wird ein Magazin (8) zur Aufnahme von mindestens einer Knochenschraube (16) vorgeschlagen mit einer Einrichtung (12,13) zur lösbaren Festlegung des Magazins an einer Knochenplatte und mit einer von der Oberseite zur Unterseite des Magazins durchgehenden Aufnahmekammer (10), in der eine Knochenschraube derart angeordnet ist, dass bei an der Knochenplatte festgelegtem Magazin ihre distale Spitze (22) auf eine Einschrauböffnung (6) der Knochenplatte gerichtet ist und ihr proximales Ende von der Oberseite des Magazins für ein Einschraubwerkzeug (24) zugänglich ist, und mit einer Fixiervorrichtung (18) zur lösbaren Festlegung der Knochenschraube in der Aufnahmekammer.
