Rehabilitation engineering is the application of engineering sciences to design, develop, adapt, test, evaluate, apply, and distribute technological solutions to problems faced by individuals with disabilities. Technology that is used to help increase functional capabilities is widely called assistive technology. The most widespread assistive device used is the wheelchair. It is commonly involved in promoting independent mobility and good posture. Physically challenged people face barriers at their each torn and they need assistance in their daily works specifically for manoeuvring of the wheelchair, performing transfers and weight reliefs. All these task demands the physically challenged to use the upper part of the body but it is an awful task for them. In order to provide comfort to the wheelchair users, an economically designed motor wheelchair for their domestic use is prototyped. The Wheelchair enables its users to go for walks on their own, to reach high shelves, climb and descend stairs unassisted. The prototype have components like Caterpillar tracks, Motor, Controller-and Piston
