PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a weeding implement weeding both sides of seedling roots and the space between seedlings without damaging the seedlings by weeding wheels, and efficiently performing the weeding work with a reduced travelling load.SOLUTION: The weeding implement includes a seedling edge weeding part disposed on the front side or rear side of the implement body for weeding edges of seedlings, wherein the seedling edge weeding part is provided with a pair of right and left weeding wheels composed of elastic wire materials 42 projecting in the radial direction in such a state as to be rotatably grounded on a field surface close to the seedling edge, and the pair of right and left weeding wheels are arranged so as to expand upward in V shape from seedling passing space making the wheels pass seedlings edges, and a disklike wire material cover 50 covering from center of rotation to the halfway part of the length of the wire materials 42 arranged on the seedling passing space side of the weeding wheel. The implement is constituted to weed the seedling edge parts with the tips of the wire materials 42 rotating while controlling the contact of leaf tip sides of the seedlings and halfway part of the wire materials 42.COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT【課題】除草輪によって苗を傷めることなく株元の両側及び株間の除草を行うと共に、走行負荷を低減した除草作業を能率よく行うことができる除草作業機を提供する。【解決手段】苗の株際を除草する株際除草部を、作業機体の前側又は後側に備えた除草作業機であって、前記株際除草部を、弾力性を有する線材42を放射方向に突設した左右一対の除草輪を株際の田面に接地回転可能に配設すると共に、上記左右の除草輪を、苗の株元を通過させる苗通過間隔から、上方に向けてV字状に拡開させて配設し、且つ除草輪の苗通過間隔側の側面に、回転中心から線材42の長さ中途部を覆う円盤状の線材カバー50を設けることにより、苗の葉先側と線材42の中途部との苗接触を規制し回転する線材42の先端で株際の除草を行うように構成した。【選択図】図8
