Disclosed is a hair care composition comprising: a metal pyrithione and a silicone compound having a linear silicone backbone, an amine or a quaternary ammonium group, and an alkylene oxide group and further comprising polyquaternium-6. The compositions of the present invention provide improved deposition of antidandruff agents such as zinc pyrithione on scalp.
