Apparatus and methods are provided for use with a needle assembly that includes a needle that is for inserting into an insertion site of skin of a patient. A needle-coupling portion is coupled to a support element, the needle-coupling portion being configured to couple the support element to the needle assembly. A plurality of protruding members protrude from the support element, the protruding members being configured to engage the skin of the patient, and to be moveable with respect to the skin, while engaging the skin.
