The present invention relates to a storage container for a storage and dispensing station for drugs. Known storage containers comprise a housing (10) enclosing an accommodation space (2) for drug portions and having a circular-cylindrical section (11) and a separating device (30) which is mounted rotatably in the circular-cylindrical section (11) of the housing (10) and has a cylindrical main body (31), wherein the cylindrical main body (31) has a top face (32), which is conical at least in some sections, and a main body lateral surface on which a plurality of protrusions (34) are formed which define channels (35) with a circumferential width KB and a radial depth KT, and the outer contours of which define a circular-cylindrical outer lateral surface (36) which is interrupted by the channels (35). Known storage containers occasionally dispense incorrectly because drug portions do not pass into the channels. According to the invention, a protrusion (40) with a height VH and an outer contour VAK is arranged centrally on the conical top face (32), wherein a maximum radial distance VAmax between the outer contour VAK and the outer lateral surface (36) is smaller than twice the circumferential width KB of a channel (35).
