A portable one-to-many control device50for a sprinkler pipeline comprises a housing501, a display screen51, an operation interface52, a connection port and a transmission interface54wherein a microprocessor is positioned within the housing501and electrically connected to the transmission interface54, the housing including a DC power source. The control device50is connectable to a mounting body30which sits on top of a control valve10for controlling the flow of water in a sprinkler pipeline or irrigation system. A memory and drive unit40is positioned within the mounting body30and powered by a battery. A second interface41is provided which is in electrical connection with a solenoid20of the valve10and the memory and drive unit40which saves data and activates the solenoid20. The housing501corresponds to the mounting body30. The control device50can be movably and electrically connected to the memory and drive unit of different control valves so that one control device can set and control many control valves.
