The present invention relates to a device for sealing cinerary urn and a method for sealing cinerary urn using the same and, more specifically, to the device for sealing cinerary urn which sterilizes the cinerary urn in a closed chamber and exposes the same to ultraviolet rays as in a vacuumed state so that the cinerary urn can be sealed and spoilage of the contents can be prevented and stored for long time and to the method for sealing cinerary urn using the same. For the above characteristics, the present invention comprises a chamber in which the cinerary urn is placed inside； an ultraviolet ray emitting unit which is equipped inside the chamber； and an air deflation unit which is connected to the chamber and deflates air inside the chamber.본 발명은 유골함 밀봉장치 및 이를 이용하여 유골함을 밀봉하는 방법에 관한 것으로 보다 상세하게는 밀폐된 챔버 내에서 멸균 처리한 후 진공상태로 하고 자외선에 노출시킴으로써 유골함을 밀봉하여 내용물이 변질되는 것을 방지하고 오랜 기간 보관할 수 있는 유골함 밀봉장치 및 이를 이용하여 유골함을 밀봉하는 방법에 관한 것이다.이를 위하여 본 발명은 내부에 유골함이 안치될 수 있는 챔버와, 상기 챔버의 내부에 구비되는 자외선발광부 및 상기 챔버에 연결되어 챔버 내부의 공기를 배출시키는 공기배출부를 포함한다.
