PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a biological organ dilator using a self-expandable stent by which dilator exchanging workpiece with another biological organ dilator is easily carried out in stent indwelling workpiece and whose diameter can be made smaller.
SOLUTION: The biological organ dilator 1 includes a distal end side tube 2 with a guide wire lumen 21, a proximal end side tube 4 fixed on the proximal end part of the distal end side tube 2, a stent storing tubular member 5 wrapping the distal end side of the distal end side tube 2 and being slidable in the proximal end direction, a stent 3 stored within the tubular member 5, and a traction member 6 for moving the tubular member 5 toward the proximal end side. The distal end side tube 2 includes a proximal side opening 23 opening at the proximal end side of the distal end side tube 2, and a stent engagement part 22 to regulate movement of the stent toward the proximal side. The outer diameter of the proximal end side tube 4 is made smaller than the outer diameter of a largest diameter part in the distal end side than the proximal end side tube 4 of the biological organ dilator 1.
