According to an embodiment of the present invention, an endoscope apparatus includes: a main body including a communication device and a processor and a detachable camera unit. The camera unit includes a cable, a connector which is detachable from the main body and is formed in one end of the cable, a camera lens formed in the other end of the cable, an image sensor connected to the camera lens, and a lighting device formed in the other end of the cable. The processor transmits an image, captured by the camera lens, to a user terminal using the communication device.
