The present disclosure provides a method for producing a plant having enhanced disease resistance to nematodes by introducing into said plant a Cf-2 gene as well as an Rcr3 gene encoding an RCR3 protein comprising certain amino acid modifications at certain positions as compared to a Solanum lycopersicum RCR3 protein. Alternatively, the endogenous RCR3 protein of said plant may be modified, e.g., using targeted mutagenesis.La présente invention concerne un procédé de production dune plante ayant une résistance accrue aux maladies vis-à-vis des nématodes par introduction dans ladite plante dun gène Cf-2 ainsi que dun gène Rcr3 codant pour une protéine RCR3 comprenant certaines modifications dacide aminé à certaines positions par comparaison avec une protéine RCR3 de Solanum lycopersicum. En variante, la protéine RCR3 endogène de ladite plante peut être modifiée, par exemple à laide dune mutagenèse ciblée.
