The present invention relates to a traveling aid apparatus and comprises: a main frame supporting the entire apparatus and wherein a gradient unit is formed on a front side； a stem frame formed to be long and inserted into and fixated to be rotated to the main frame and of which one side has a handle and the other side is coupled with a driving wheel； a connecting frame formed to be long and of which one side is connected to the main frame and the other side is coupled to a manual wheel chair； a driving motor providing a driving force to the driving wheel； and a driving unit having a power supply unit formed to be long to disposed in a rear side relative to the driving wheel on the gradient unit to supply power to the driving motor. The power supply unit is disposed on a center line of left and right sides in a width direction of the main frame.본 발명은 주행보조장치에 관한 것으로, 전체를 지지하며, 전방에 경사부가 형성된 메인프레임, 길게 형성되어 상기 메인프레임에 회전 가능하게 삽입 고정되고, 일측에는 핸들이 형성되며, 타측에는 구동바퀴가 결합되는 스템프레임, 길게 형성되며 일측이 상기 메인프레임상에 연결되고 타측이 수동식 휠체어에 결합되는 연결프레임 및 상기 구동바퀴에 구동력을 제공하는 구동모터 및 길게 형성되어 상기 경사부상에서 상기 구동바퀴보다 상대적으로 후방에 배치되어 상기 구동모터에 전력을 공급하는 전력공급부를 포함하는 구동유닛을 포함하며, 상기 전력공급부는 상기 메인프레임의 폭 방향에 따른 좌 우측의 중심선 상에 배치되는 것을 특징으로 하는 주행보조장치가 개시된다.
