PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique for improving the measurement accuracy of a pulse wave upon congestion.SOLUTION: A pulse wave signal processing device obtains a first measuring signal that shows an electric impedance in a measurement site where the pulse wave of a living body is measured, a second measuring signal that shows the amount of received light that has irradiated to and then penetrated through or been reflected from the measurement site, and a third measuring signal that shows a physical quantity corresponding to a movement in a mounted part of the living body or the measurement site, detects whether the measurement site is in a congestive state based on the first measuring signal or the third measuring signal, outputs information that shows the pulse wave of the living body by using the first measuring signal and the second measuring signal when it is in the congestive state, and outputs information that shows the pulse wave of the living body by using the first measuring signal and the third measuring signal when it is not in the congestive state.COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT【課題】うっ血時における脈波の測定精度を向上させうる技術を提供する。【解決手段】生体の脈波を測定する測定部位における電気インピーダンスを示す第1測定信号と、前記測定部位に照射された光が当該測定部位を透過又は反射した光の受光量を示す第2測定信号と、装着される前記生体の部位又は前記測定部位における動きに応じた物理量を示す第3測定信号とを取得し、第1測定信号又は第3測定信号に基づいて前記測定部位がうっ血状態であるか否かを検出し、うっ血状態である場合には、前記第1測定信号と前記第2測定信号とを用いて前記生体の脈波を示す情報を出力し、うっ血状態でない場合に、前記第1測定信号と前記第3測定信号とを用いて前記生体の脈波を示す情報を出力する。【選択図】図3
