PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a calcium phosphate composition having a hardening time, which is the period of time necessary for the composition to harden after the addition of water, within an appropriate range for a medical scene and also having an excellent blocking property.
SOLUTION: The calcium phosphate composition contains tetracalcium phosphate particles (A) and calcium hydrogen phosphate particles (B). The mean particle size of the tetracalcium phosphate particles is 5-30 &mum. The composition also contains tetracalcium phosphate particles (A) having a particle diameter of &le1.5 &mum in an amount of 2-20 wt.% based on the total amount of tetracalcium phosphate particles (A).
