摘要:
Method and devices for acquiring bipolar bioelectrical signals, such as ECG signals of a human body, whereby left and right, time-synchronized independent and decoupled wearable devices have sensors for simultaneously collecting the signals from the left and the right side of the body. The devices process the collected signals into ECG data and communicate the processed data to a central device. The processing comprises that analog-to-digital convertors sample the signals. The devices wirelessly transmit the samples real-time or near-real time to a synchronization unit for synchronizing the samples. By continuously collecting ECG data of the left and the right side of the body, the chance of detecting abnormal ECG data increases , which leads to a more adequate detection of e.g. atria) fibrillation or stroke. A bracelet-like wearable device is proposed, which is comfortable to wear and intuitively and easily to use by a user.
