PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pen needle assembly capable of preventing jamming of a needle lumen due to particles contained in an agent.SOLUTION: Provided is a pen needle assembly including a hub 12, and a needle 14 fixed to the hub, in which the needle comprises a proximal end 16 and a distal end and a lumen 20 extends between the proximal and distal ends. The needle extends from the hub in a distal direction, and a length of an exposed part which is about 5.0 mm to 9.0 mm is defined between the distal end of the needle and the hub. A brace 32 formed around the needle is defined on the hub, and the brace has a first skin engagement surface 34 facing the distal side. The length of the exposed part of the needle extends from the first skin engagement surface in the distal direction. A second skin engagement surface 36 facing the distal direction is also defined on the hub, and the surface at least partially surrounds the first skin engagement surface.
