PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a magnetic resonance imaging apparatus capable of removing the radial artifact peculiar to an image obtained in RADAR measurement in the image reconstituting processing in the magnetic resonance imaging apparatus.

SOLUTION: In the RADAR measurement, two-dimensional Fourier transform is applied to a blade-shaped exciting region obtained by performing a plurality of times of exciting operations centering around the central part of a k-space in a propeller-shaped point-symmetrical manner to obtain the image space data of a blade and noise discrimination processing is performed from the image space data of the blade. The average values of the noises in the individual blades are each calculated from the noise region obtained by the noise discrimination processing and the noise average value of the whole of the blade is calculated from a plurality of these average values. This noise average value of the whole of the blade is used in the operation of the noise rising preventing processing in the image reconstituting processing.
