PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To propose an epoch-making method of manufacturing a front opening type storage body, with which a reinforcing member can be mounted on a top plate part very easily.SOLUTION: A method for manufacturing a front opening type storage body includes: arranging a reinforcing member mounting part 3 with reinforcing member locking parts 4 provided at both ends thereof, in the back side of the front side end of a top plate part 1; arranging a reinforcing member 2 between the reinforcing member locking parts 4 of the reinforcing member mounting part 3 in a state where an opposed separation interval of the reinforcing member locking parts 4 before the top plate part 1 after resin molding gets cold and is contracted is expanded more than the longitudinal dimension of the reinforcing member 2, when mounting the reinforcing member 2 on the reinforcing member mounting part 3; then, cooling and contracting the top plate part 1; narrowing the separation distance of the reinforcing member locking parts 4
