Disclosed is a balloon catheter device with a multipurpose covering component. The balloon catheter device comprises a catheter, a jointing component, a balloon, and a covering component. The jointing component is communicated with the catheter by connecting a connecting portion of the jointing component to a first end of the catheter. The balloon has a dilatable space and a fluid opening. The fluid opening is connected to a second end of the catheter so that the dilatable space is communicated with the jointing component via the catheter. The covering component is hollow-shaped. By means of moving the covering component to slide along the outer surface of the catheter, the covering component can function as an anti-kinking component to prevent the catheter from being kinked and can function as a pressing component to press the balloon after the covering component is moved toward the second end of the catheter along the length direction of the catheter for completely or partially covering the balloon.
