PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a film forming cosmetic which is compatible with various oils, spreads on the skin or hair without being sticky, forms a thin film when applied onto the skin or hair, gives pleasant touch and sense of use, maintains effects of the cosmetic longer, and prevents the cosmetic from attaching on clothing or the like.SOLUTION: A cosmetic includes a polymer having a repeat unit represented by formula (1).
