PURPOSE: A power grass cutter is provided to enable a user to continue a grass cutting work and to cut grass regardless of incline. CONSTITUTION: A power grass cutter comprises: a main body (1) in which a steering handle (1b) is mounted on the rear thereof, a grass cutter attachment unit (1c) is formed on the front thereof, an engine (2) and a transmission (3) are mounted on a frame, a wheel shaft (4) connects to a driven shaft, and wheels (4a, 4b) are attached to the wheel shaft； and an attachment board (5a) of a blade support plate (5) which is coupled to a power grass cutter attachment unit by a coupler. A traveling device drive pulley (2a) and a grass cutter drive pulley (2b) are attached to the drive shaft of the engine side by side. A drive belt (30) is connected between the traveling device drive pulley and the rotational pulley (3a) of the transmission. A power transmission device includes a roller (31a) which is inserted into the operation shaft of a tension device and contacts the outer surface of the drive belt.본 발명은 소형엔진으로 추진되는 동력예초기에 관한 것으로 보다 구체적인 것은, 기계본체에 소형엔진을 장착하여 전진과 후진 및 브레이크 작용이 가능한 구동장치와 지면의 형상에 대응하여 예초날이 장치된 예초날지지판의 접지각도가 조정되는 복수개의 가변형 예초날지지판을 구비하여 예초 작업을 보다 편리하고 능률적으로 수행할 수 있게 개발한 동력 예초기이다.
